More Than Just a "Chick Flick"

With the fourth instalment to this series, 'Ocean's Eight' blows the three previous films out of the water. Having a cast with so many incredible names that would make anyone giddy, there's even surprise cameos of high listing Hollywood stars, such as Heidi Klum, the Kardashians, and Serena Williams, that are there simply to play themselves and shock the audience.
While I could go on forever about the amazingness that is Sandra Bullock and Cate Blanchett, but with other names like Rhianna, Anne Hathaway, Helen Bonham Carter, Dakota Fanning, James Cordan, and Richard Armitage, there is never a moment when the viewers aren't being stunned at the amount of celebrities their watching. The only way this could have had any better casting was if acting royalty, Meghan Markle, was featured in this film.
If you are able to look beyond all the famous faces for just a little, you'll see that even the storyline has so much wow-factor that at the end of the film you're still thrown for another loop with the plot twists they have in store.
With their A+ casting and writing, this film seems to do no wrong, proven even further by their impressive wardrobe crew who, while also featuring real read carpet looks from previous years, also create such believable looks that suit each character perfectly. Catering an individual look for each of their unique character; ranging from their inner city badass (played by Rhianna), to their oddly quirky designer (played by Helen Bonham Carter).
Apparently there is nothing this movie can't do well, even succeeding to rekindle everyone's love for Nancy Sinatra's 'These Boots Are Made for Walkin', which I guarantee you will have in your head for days after watching this movie.
All I can say to those who aren't sure of this film, or think it an unnecessary addition to the Ocean's series:
Step over, ladies are coming through!
And they can do your job better than you.
8 /5 , Oceans of entertainment in store for you!
