Believe in Every Day

Some days are heavier

to carry than others.

When the world feels too big

and my life feels too small.

Like your past is too short,

and your future too long.

Other days it's different,

it's the other way 'round.

On days like these it's hard,

to stop and remember;

that no matter the size,

we still make a difference.

Doesn't matter if local

or taken off global,

our lives still do something.

Whether it takes a day

or all your life to do,

change will always be change.

So go write that essay

that changes the dress code.

Go talk to that person

who will be your best friend.

Believe in the wild dream

that will see you soar high.

Don't doubt the everyday

because change is still change,

no matter what the size.
